This warm-hearted comedy drama features much of the cast from FIT in a football movie with a message or two. Macho lad Archer was a rising young soccer star until his career was mysteriously cut short. After a stint in the army he’s back to playing football, this time captaining a gay five-a-side team. The only problem is that Archer, with cute boyfriend in tow, isn’t comfortable with his sexuality and the bunch of out-and-proud, quarrelling drama queens who make up the rest of Platoon F.C. threaten to expose their secret to notorious new opponents, the Bethnal Reapers, who have a reputation for steroids and hardcore fouling
